Turkmenistan’s former president made a multilingual rap video introducing his country. The country came into existence in 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union. It was a Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic as Part of The Great Socialist Soviet Union since 1925. This had a new president Saparmurat Niyazov come into power who started a personality cult.
